Learning that lives inside Slack.
Your team already asks Slack for help. Plynn answers with a course: a real learning path, built in about two minutes, delivered where the question was asked.

From question to course, in Slack
Invite @Plynn to your workspace
A standard Slack app install, reviewed and approved by IT like any other. SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are included on every plan, so access follows your identity provider from day one.
Ask the way you would ask a colleague
A direct message to the Plynn app, in plain language: the topic, the deadline, how much you already know. No course codes, no catalog search, no forms.
The course arrives in the conversation
In about two minutes: vetted video segments, sequenced for that person and that question, with notes, a quiz, and an AI tutor for follow-ups. L&D sees the topic-level demand, never a surveillance log.
Why learning belongs inside Slack
Every learning portal asks for the same toll: stop working, go somewhere else, remember why you came. Most people pay it once. After that, the question goes to YouTube, to ChatGPT, or to a colleague, and the learning becomes invisible. We call that shadow learning, and in most organizations it is the majority of all learning that happens.
Delivering the course inside Slack removes the toll entirely. In Plynn's enterprise pilot, 60% of employees adopted it without a single nudge from L&D, and 90% of people who created a course came back for another. Counted during the pilot, not projected; the methodology is on the pilot results page.
L&D gets what the portal never delivered: topic-level demand, skill maps by team, and emerging gaps, in real time and in aggregate. Individual learner records stay private, because surveillance is how learning gets driven back into the shadows.

Frequently asked questions
Is Plynn an LMS for Slack?
- No. An LMS assigns scheduled, mandatory training and tracks completion. Plynn handles the opposite case: unplanned, employee-led learning that starts with a question in Slack. Most customers run Plynn alongside an LMS, not instead of one.
Does Plynn work in channels or only in direct messages?
- Both. Employees can DM the Plynn app privately or mention it in a channel; the course comes back in the same conversation. Private asks stay private.
How is this different from pasting YouTube links into a channel?
- A pasted link is one unvetted video with no sequence, no notes, and no record. Plynn ranks segments on channel authority, recency, and whether they actually teach the concept, sequences them into a path with a quiz and tutor, and gives L&D aggregate visibility into what the team is trying to learn.
What does IT need to approve?
- A standard Slack app installation with scoped permissions. Plynn ships SAML 2.0 SSO (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace), SCIM 2.0, role-based access, and audit logs on every plan, and models are not trained on customer content. Security review materials are available at security@plynn.dev.
Can courses include our internal recordings?
- Yes. Loom walkthroughs, Zoom trainings, and other recordings your company owns can be indexed and sequenced into courses next to public video, so institutional knowledge stops living in a drive nobody opens.
