my review says "delegate more." i agree. i also have no idea how to start without dropping the ball on quality.

From question to course, in Microsoft Teams

  1. Add Plynn to Microsoft Teams

A standard Teams app with admin consent, rolled out like any other. SAML SSO through Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM 2.0 provisioning are included on every plan, so access mirrors your directory automatically.

  2. Ask in plain language

A chat message to the Plynn app: the topic, the deadline, the starting point. The question an employee would otherwise take to a search bar stays inside your tenant.

  3. The course arrives in the chat

In about two minutes: vetted video segments sequenced for that person and that question, with notes, a quiz, and an AI tutor. L&D sees demand by topic and team, never an individual surveillance log.

Why learning belongs inside Microsoft Teams

Every learning portal asks for the same toll: stop working, go somewhere else, remember why you came. Most people pay it once. After that, the question goes to YouTube, to ChatGPT, or to a colleague, and the learning becomes invisible. We call that shadow learning, and in most organizations it is the majority of all learning that happens.

Delivering the course inside Microsoft Teams removes the toll entirely. In Plynn's enterprise pilot, 60% of employees adopted it without a single nudge from L&D, and 90% of people who created a course came back for another. Counted during the pilot, not projected; the methodology is on the pilot results page.

L&D gets what the portal never delivered: topic-level demand, skill maps by team, and emerging gaps, in real time and in aggregate. Individual learner records stay private, because surveillance is how learning gets driven back into the shadows.

Frequently asked questions

Is Plynn an LMS inside Microsoft Teams?

No. An LMS runs scheduled, mandatory training and measures completion. Plynn covers what the LMS structurally misses: the unplanned, task-triggered learning that starts as a question in chat. It complements an LMS rather than replacing it.

Does Plynn integrate with Microsoft Entra ID?

Yes. SAML 2.0 SSO works with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Google Workspace, and SCIM 2.0 keeps provisioning in sync with your directory. Both are standard on every plan, not enterprise upsells.

How is this different from sharing links in a Teams channel?

A shared link is a single unvetted video with no structure and no record. Plynn selects and sequences segments that actually teach the concept, wraps them with notes, a quiz, and a tutor, and turns the request itself into aggregate demand data for L&D.

What does rollout involve for IT?

A standard Teams app deployment with admin consent and scoped permissions. Role-based access and audit logs are included, and models are not trained on customer content. Security review materials are available at security@plynn.dev.

Can courses include our internal recordings?

Yes. Recorded trainings, Loom walkthroughs, and other company-owned video can be sequenced into courses alongside public sources, which is usually where the best answers to internal-process questions already live.
